Agriserve partnered with Cropnuts Kenya to launch a joint venture
The knowledge of the right type of land and the quality is integral in agriculture. Leveraging IITA’s over 50 years of research for development in Africa, AgriServe, a unit of the IITA Business Incubation Platform was launched to provide technical professional services in Laboratory operations, Soil suitability assessment and Agronomic advisories and Agricultural enterprise development. To reach out to more people across Africa, we went into a joint venture with Cropnuts based in Kenya.
Cropnuts-AgriServe is a joint venture between Cropnuts in Kenya and IITA Agriserve. With Cropnuts being the largest private sector Agricultural Laboratory and Advisory company in East Africa based out of Kenya and IITA (International Institute for Tropical Agriculture) being an international research organization specializing on helping farmers to increase their yields and having its headquarters in Nigeria, a strong partnership is formed.
Based out of Ibadan, Cropnuts Agriserve, is offering a range of services throughout Nigeria and across Africa such as:
– Soil and Plant analyses
– Fertilizer and Soil Correction Recommendations
– Mobile Laboratories (FARMLAB)
– Land and Crop suitability surveys
– Independent Field Trials (product performance trials)
– Farm & Crop Consultancy
– Fertilizer Analyses
With the combination of IITA’s long experience of crop and good agricultural practices in West Africa, Cropnuts experience on soil testing and fertilizer recommendations, we are now able to help farmers and Agri entrepreneurs or investors to make better decisions, and improve their yields and business.
This strategic partnership will indeed increase our range of services, increase our reach across Africa and help us build a stronger brand identity.
