IITA supporter visits IITA-Kinshasa station, encourages Youth agripreneurs

His Excellency Marcelin Cishambo, former governor of South Kivu Province visited IITA-Kinshasa station. Cishambo has been an IITA partner for many years and facilitated the participation of DRC in the Consortium for Improving Agricultural-Based Livelihood in Central Africa project (CIALCA project) from 2004 to 2014.

Third Nutritious Food Fair tasks women to shun malnutrition, hidden hunger

Malnutrition causes at least 53% of deaths in women and children worldwide according to the World Health Organization. In Nigeria, the situation is even more alarming as records show that malnutrition kills 100 children and at least six women of child bearing age every hour.
